Try Emu oil or cream. It really works. There's a dealer near me, so I'm sure there are others. Hope you stop hurting soon!

Warning: "Few Words of Caution: Sweet Birch (Betula Lenta) Oil is toxic and can cause skin irritations. Pregnant ladies should avoid Birch Oil."

I have arthritis, with nodules on a couple of knuckles. Deep heat is the only thing that really provides any relief.

I have narrow, deep pot in which I keep paraffin. I slowly melt it at a low temperature and then when it cools to warm enough to not cause a burn, I dip my hands in it up to the lower forearm. I do this repeatedly until I have a thick layer. (I keep the fingers separate to get heat all the way around the joints.

Then I put my hands in plastic bags and wrap them in towels and rest for 30 minutes. The heat is very, very deep and extremely soothing. The oils in the paraffin really soften the skin, as well.

When it is completely cool, make a fist and let the kids see you remove a big old mitt from your hands!

Arnica Montana, either in homeopathic pills or in a cream. It is good for pain relief and is especially good at releiving bruises or sprains. You should be able to find it at a health food store.

A few drops of Oregano oil and Lavender in a carrier oil or lotion even and rub it in well at night before bed. It really helped my carpal tunnel symptoms last year.

I have a rice sock I made--heat in the microwave for a couple of minutes and place it on whatever part of my body hurts.

I also do some of these other treatments as well - hot water, I have a wax pot and haven't used it in years though (I forgot I had it until I read about one here), rice or heated fragrant herbal pockets. and yes, Aleve works for me too! lol

I left you a "Stylish Award" on my blog! I enjoy reading your stories on your blog! Brenda

I take Voltaren (diclofenac) when the pain is severe, but home or natural remedy is best. So I would borrow some of the suggestions by your readers here. Thanks

I swear by: Sore No More Cream.

I use it after riding a horse for hours. And it's sold for humans and for race horses to use as a linament.

I keep a roll-on bottle of it my purse, too. Good stuff.
