While mothers everywhere were getting flowers for Mother's Day, Hubby got me this. It's a basket of herbs and such. I figure since I wasn't a mother, this would work perfectly! lol.
It has chamomile, sage, and oregano in it.
It also has stevia, rhubarb and,get this, swiss chard in it. lol

When the rhubarb stalks are ready to cut, slice them into 1 inch pieces. Add water to barely cover, & simmer until mushy. Strain the mixture thru a think cloth, like an old t-shirt, or muslin if you have it, & add 1/3 cup sugar per quart of light pink juice. Freeze it in ice cubes & store in a zip bag in the freezer. To use, put 3-4 cubes in a glass & fill with lemon lime soda. You will like rhubarb this way!

I have tried it. It's ok. I wouldn't keep a batch of rhubarb just so I can have it though.
You are a stepmom arent yah? I think it counts, especially since steps dont always get along. Theres an art to it. I got nada, my hubby isnt my sons bioligical dad, so when the day comes around I used to hear well youre not my mom. He learned real quick its not just about YOUR mom, but all moms! Regardless of whether he acknowledges it or not, my son does and that makes my day. I dont bust my butt any less that day, but Im usually spoiled just before since my bdays just a couple days prior! I hope the herbs grow well. I never have any luck whether bought or by seed.
