It looks like Mayweed. Invasive type of weed, with pretty little flowers. If it's the Mayweed if touched may cause a little rash. It's not good for livestock.
Willow... They are EVERYWERE this year!!!! I love it!!!!!Sandy....Hmmmmm..It doesn't bother us when we touch it. I'm not sure about the livestock. Our mare eats it all the time. I bet it's not the same stuff. But, it could be. :0)
Ive seen it here too. We've cut it but youre right it doesnt last. Have had no probs handling it either.
The honey made from these tiny asters has a different smell too. You can tell when bees have been working asters in the fall.
