Question of the Day

I woke up this morning thinking of all the things that I have to do. So......I got on the Internet. hehehhe.. I like to get up when the sun comes up but, I like to start doing my work early afternoon. Most of my good work is done later on in the day. I like having breakfast and a cup of tea. I might watch a little bit of t.v. (I know, I'm trying to stop) I'll check my email and then Facebook.  Then, around noon, I feel like actually doing something.  So, my question is.........

Are you a morning, afternoon, or evening worker? Or,(gulp) an all day worker?

SFG, question asker..er

I have to do the chickens / goats / animals in the early morning so they don't get pissed at me, but just do a quick once-over. Then I do all my "fun" and "mind numbing" stuff like the internet after mandatory barn chores are finished. When the afternoon rolls around I'm more inclined to do the "real" work.

Carolyn, that's how I do it! I'm so glad I'm not alone. :)

Normally I'm a get up early and work most of the day person, but with Maisie I'm so tired from getting up in the night with her that I end up going back to bed I the a.m. And not getting back up until 8:30. And then, by the time I get her taken care of after that, I've not been headed to the barn until 10 or so. It's making me crazy.

I`m a morning worker, no doubt. After lunch my energy level plummets.

I have to feed my goats first thing in the morning and if the chickens and rabbits water is frozen I take care of that! I piddle while drinking coffee and then do all the chores in the late afternoon evening hours ☺

I am SO NOT a morning person, which is kind of funny since I HAVE to be up and out of here by a way-too-small-hour of the A.M. But when we have animals such as the chickens we hope for some day, and our own employment of outdoor work in garden and on the land, we'll HAVE to be up early getting things done out there before the swelter of Florida takes us down in sheer heat late morning through midday. But my FAVORITE morning is still Saturday, because we keep the 7th day sabbath by doing NO WORK...and usually get to sleep late (meaning now that we're empty nesters...one of the few up sides, ha!) With that said, on the days when I HAVE experienced mornings outside, I love seeing the world wake up. But my body clock doesn't really get ticking till about noon ;-)

I'm in a weird situation now. I go to work in my shop at 1pm. So my good work time is in the morning...but I don't let myself do much (or anything) in the A.M. because then I'd be wiped out when I have to work. As it is I get home after 5pm and am very sleepy. But on the weekends if it doesn't get done before 2pm...it's not getting done.

i bounce out (or roll out) of the bed usually at a decent morning hour and get to living life immediately...beds made, teeth brushed, dressed for the day(most days) and onto the list of chores waiting for me to do. i stay focused straight thru it all and then wind down as evening approaches..however, when i stay up far too late into the night the next few days are really hard.

I'm an all day worker. Kinda gotta be with farm chores, home school, cooking, cleaning, laundry ya it has it's own category, more farm chores, and the list goes on. But on the flip side I usually pass out by 9:30-10pm!!
