Rainy Days

I just love rainy days. These are the days that I am forced to stay inside. That way I can get stuff done inside and not feel guilty about the things that need done outside. Plus we have a metal roof on our house and, ooooohhhh, does it sound sooooo good. I might be "forced" into taking a nap. lol.  But that will be after the dishes are done, the clothes are washed, the floor is swept, the tub is scrubbed, the stove ashes are emptied......well, I guess I can forget the nap.

Sounds like "nap time" will be bed time! Enjoy your rain! We are supposed to get snow. Yuck, I'd rather have the rain!

Sometimes you just need to nap. Its important! Why sweep the floor, someone will only track in mud. Same for the tub, gonna have to wash the muddy feet right?? And the dishes can wait till AFTER the nap.
LOL Have a Great Day!

Sounds like a bread making day. Forget the tub and sweep the floor later. Make the bread then take a nap getting up after the bread rises.

I like the first, maybe, two days of rain, but where I live, those two days stretch out into months sometimes. Then, I always have to go out and at least do some of the outside sorts of things...I hope you DO get your nap.

storm just passed through here in n.e. miss. ...i just happened to be taking a nap at the time and what woke me up was the rain on our metal roof and the sound the trees make when being swooshed by high winds. lucky, we had no damage on our small farm and it pays to pay attention to mother nature and the signs she gives us. weathermen often make mistakes and sirens dont always go off as they should.
