Question of the Day

Should 9/11 be made into a holiday?

SFG, just asking.

Only if we'd like it serve as another excuse for a day off and a party -it's not like it would be a "day of rememberance" ... have you seen what's happened to Veteran's day?

No. Just my opinion.

I thought it already was a holiday...don't they call it "Patriot Day" or something like that?

But no, I don't think they (meaning congress) should. They shouldn't even debate about it. How many hours, days, weeks will they sit in debate, sucking taxpayer money in order to make another "holiday"? You know, one of those holidays where the government workers get a paid holiday, but the rest of the citizens have to work.

Besides, won't it overlap with some other iddiot "holiday" like National Love Your Hampster Day or National Eat GMO Foods Day?

Sorry for the rant. Done now. :)

NO.

Maybe a National Day of Prayer and Fasting - but not a "holiday" nor a day off of work.

It will ever be a day people forget. As far as a work holiday I don't know maybe it should.
